Your act of giving doesn’t always need to have a material aspect conjoined with itself, simple acts of kindness like being there for someone during their bad times and lending them emotional support is also an act of giving. Charity starts at home

You must have heard this quote being used a lot when we start talking about charity, its literal meaning is to start at home by giving to your family members, friends and close ones. It implies to fulfil our duties towards the ones who have been with us through thick and thin and then slowly venture out and start helping others.
